The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the academic year 2024/2025 for the coveted Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB). The program is a rigorous one-year study with the aim of advancing students’ intellectual development and accelerating their future career advancement. AFIT Releases IJMB Admission Form for 2024/2025 Session

AFIT has formally released the IJMB admission application for the forthcoming academic semester. To be considered for admission to the program, interested students must fulfill a set of academic requirements.

IJMB Admission Requirements/Details

  • Candidates must have earned at least five (5) credits on the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), with English Language, General Mathematics, and three additional courses, in order to be considered for admission.
  • In particular for students who successfully finish the IJMB program, we at AFIT view admission to our institute as a very promising option. In order to qualify, candidates must have taken and completed the IJMBE test with a minimum score of 10 points or higher.

Admission Details

  • Following completion of the requisite entry criteria, accepted students will begin a one-year intensive program to get them ready for college.
  • All enrolled students will be assigned to one of six academic groups (IJMB 1 – IJMB 6), with the academic grouping based on the student’s planned professional path and O-Level credits earned.
  • NAF personnel, however, are ineligible to apply for the IJMB program, so this is something to keep in mind.
