AFIT Admission Requirements
Here is a breakdown of AFIT admission requirements based on the area of specialization:
Social and Management Sciences
- Candidates must obtain a minimum Credit pass in five subjects in their SSCE/GCE results organized by WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including the core subjects of their intended course of study.
- Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics are mandatory.
- Two of the five subjects must be from the Arts, while the remaining subjects may be from the Social Sciences.
Engineering and Sciences
Candidates must obtain a minimum Credit pass in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Physics
N/B Candidates are to use not more than two sittings of their O’level results.
Additional Information
Applicants who are successfully accepted into the remedial program and who met the minimum UTME cut-off mark demanded by the university may be given consideration for admission into degree programs. Also, note that admission into programs is based on performance and quota for each program.
General Requirements
Applicants who obtained credit passes in five O-Level subjects but did not obtain a passing grade in English or mathematics can also apply for the program.
