High School Level Requirements:

1. Passing grades in English and mathematics are necessary for all courses.
2. Psychology applicants should have at least a passing grade in biology or health sciences.
3. For programs in English, Languages & Linguistics, Theatre Arts, and Law, a passing grade in O’ Level Literature is compulsory.
4. Management Science courses and Economics require a passing grade in Economics.
5. IMB O’ Level Credit Passes in mathematics and English can replace the SSCE or GCE O’ Level English passing grade.
6. NCE An English major is considered equivalent to an O’ Level Literature passing grade.
7. NCE Use of English may substitute for an O’Level English passing grade.
8. ‘A’ Level Passes are considered higher than O’ Level Passes.

How To Apply for Benue State University Postgraduate Admission Form

1. Pre-registration: Visit BSUM’s Postgraduate Portal to fill out preliminary registration details and submit them to obtain an application number.
2. Payment of Application Fee: Take the pre-registration form to Fidelity Bank and pay the non-refundable application fee of N20,000 using the Application Number.
3. Completion of Application Form: After payment, return to the BSUM Portal, access the Application section, and select Postgraduate to complete the online Application Form. Upload your academic credentials in an orderly manner and other necessary documents, and then submit.
4. Reference Forms: Ensure that three referees complete the online reference forms.
5. Final Submission: Applicants must upload relevant documents, as incomplete applications will not be processed.
