Federal Polytechnic Offa HND Part-Time Programmes

Please be aware that the HND Part-Time courses are designed mainly for employed individuals who cannot join regular HND programs due to work commitments.

It’s crucial to mention that graduates of Part-Time HND are not required to participate in the National Youth Service (NYSC) Scheme.

Federal Poly Offa HND Admission Entry Requirements

Here are the entry criteria for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programs:

1. You need to have a National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID) in your chosen field from a recognized Polytechnic, Monotechnic, or Innovation Enterprise Institution with at least a LOWER CREDIT grade.

2. You must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in your SSC or GCE O’level exams, achieved in no more than two sittings.

3. Possessing a National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with a credit level pass in a trade, along with four relevant academic subjects (including English Language and Mathematics), is also acceptable.

4. You should have undergone at least one year of post-National Diploma Industrial Training.

If you obtained a pass grade in your ND/NID, you’re still eligible for admission, but you need to have a minimum of two years of post-industrial Training experience.

Remember that applicants for the Polytechnic HND Programs who didn’t get their ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa need to send a copy of their National Diploma Transcript to the Registrar’s Office.

How to Apply for Federal Poly Offa HND Admission.

To enrol in the HND (FT) and Part-Time HND programs online, visit the Polytechnic website at www.fpo.edu.ng. Click on the admission section, fill out the application form, and pay a fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) using an ATM card compatible with Interswitch.

Candidates must upload scanned copies of their certificates/results and other necessary documents as specified on the website.

If you don’t have a JAMB registration number, go to jamb.gov.ng, follow the steps to apply for admission to the Federal Polytechnic Offa, and pay a thousand hundred Naira (₦3,500) application fee to obtain your JAMB Registration Number.

  • Visit the JAMB CAPS website and sign up. 
  • Make a payment of N3,500 to get your JAMB registration number. This can be done conveniently at JAMB-approved CBT centres.

Remember that if you don’t follow this application process, you won’t be eligible for admission to The Federal Polytechnic Offa because your information won’t be on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), where admissions are handled. Additionally, candidates should upload scanned copies of their certificates/results and other necessary documents as specified on the website.

Please note that any false/wrong data entry will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate at any time so discovered.

  • All candidates must upload their results, certificates, and credentials on the Polytechnic portal www.fpo.edu.ng.
  • Candidates must also fill out the security form on the Polytechnic portal.
