Landmark University Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025
The management of Landmark University through The School of Postgraduate Studies wishes to announce the commencement of the postgraduate admission form 2024/2025 sales. The management encourages all interested and qualified persons to purchase the form and apply for admission. Landmark University offers postgraduate studies at the Master of Phil, Ph.D., and Postgraduate Diploma levels. Landmark Postgraduate Admission Requirements
In order to be deemed eligible for admission to study at the postgraduate level at Landmark University, candidates are required to meet the criteria listed below. Note that the admission requirements will be categorized by the program.
1. Doctoral (Ph.D.) Degree Programmes
A doctoral degree candidate must possess a Master’s degree from Landmark University or any other university recognized by the Landmark University Senate. The master’s degree should be in a program that is relevant to their program of choice. Additionally, the candidate should have scored:-
- An average of at least 60% (3.5 CGPA) in his/her Master’s degree program.
- Between 55% – 59% to qualify for the M.Phil. Ph.D. track.
- Between 50% – 54% to qualify for the M.Phil. Program.
Candidates should ensure to attach their academic transcripts and recommendations from two academic referees from their previous tertiary institution to their applications. The Ph.D. degree program takes a minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters for full-time candidates. Candidates are required to complete a thesis at the end of the Ph.D. program.
2. Master’s Degree Programs
To be eligible for the Master’s degree programs, candidates are required to:-
- Have a minimum of a Second Class Lower Honours Degree from Landmark University, or any other university recognized by the Senate, in a discipline relevant to the intended course of study.
- Have a Third Class Bachelor’s degree and a good PGD
- Have an HND (minimum of Merit grade) and a PGD.
Candidates should ensure to attach their academic transcripts and recommendations from two academic referees from their previous tertiary institution to their applications.
The Master’s degree program takes a minimum of three (3) semesters and a maximum of five (5) semesters for full-time candidates. Students will be required to complete a dissertation prior to graduation.
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
For admission into the Postgraduate Diploma programs, candidates are required to:-
- Have five (5) credit passes including English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects at ‘Ó’ levels.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of a Third Class Degree in the relevant discipline.
- Have an HND in relevant programs from approved institutions with a minimum of a Pass in the subjects.
Candidates should ensure to attach their academic transcripts and recommendations from two academic referees from their previous tertiary institution to their applications. The Postgraduate Diploma program takes a minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters for full-time candidates.

Below are simple guidelines to follow to successfully apply for Landmark University postgraduate program:-
- Candidates are to complete the online Application Form and attach the required relevant credentials/certificates including the National Youth Service Corps Discharge or Exemption Certificate, as the case may be.
- Candidates are to submit printed copies of the completed Application Form and photocopies of the attached credentials in triplicates to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Landmark University, Omu-Aran.
- Please note that no person shall be admitted to a course except if their application has been approved by the Board of School of Postgraduate Studies on behalf of the Senate and on the recommendation of the appropriate Departmental Postgraduate Board, having satisfied the expected requirement for admission.
- All new students who are non-graduands of Landmark University, Omu-Aran, shall take the Oath of Allegiance to the University.
