LASU Central Admissions Clearance, commonly known as LACACA, is the procedure through which recently admitted students at Lagos State University (LASU) in Nigeria authenticate their admission and ensure their registration in the university. LASU is a well-known institution located in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria.
For all applicants who have been given admission to LASU, whether, in a full-time or part-time modality, the Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) is an essential step. Making sure that students complete the standards for enrollment, requires checking documents, paying fees, and completing other essential tasks. On the university campus, a designated clearance venue serves as the usual location for this process.
Candidates accepted into the Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) must complete the online admissions clearing procedure utilizing the SPTS-LACACA version of the LASU Central Admissions Clearing App (LACACA) for the 2022/2024 academic session. Candidates who are admitted provisionally will lose their provisional admission offers, while those who are admitted will receive matriculation numbers.

Detailed Guide to the LACACA-SPTS Operation
1. Click here to visit the LASU website in Nigeria.
2. Click SPTS LACACA by pointing to the STUDENT tab.
3. Select the radio button next to “Newly Admitted 2022/2024.”
4. When finished, click Submit after entering your Application Number and Last Name.
5. Once you have successfully logged in, proceed to:
- Validate your basic bio-data details.
- Verify disability status.
- Upload valid O’Level Results Scratch Card details.
- Upload original Birth Certificate.
- Upload Admission Letter.
- Upload scanned Signature.
- Upload the Payment Receipt of the Consultancy Fee already paid into the LASU Consult Ltd account.
- Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit.
6. The admission clearance will be 20% upon submission while the documents are reviewed more closely.
7. Candidates should keep an eye on the Admission Clearance process because the uploaded documents may indicate that their attention is required.
8. Candidates who have mistakes that need to be fixed will have to pay for those fixes through the LASU payment system.
9. Successful students can print the SPTS Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2022/2024 Academic Session and obtain their Matriculation Number once they have made 100% progress toward clearance and the Consultancy cost has been confirmed.
