Lighthouse Polytechnic Admission Requirements for O’Level
- Candidates must obtain a minimum of seven Credit passes in their WAEC & NECO.
- The core subjects needed are English and Mathematics.
- Candidates are also expected to have five credits in other subjects that relate to their course of study.
N/B Candidates are eligible to use only one or two WAEC sitting for the application.
Lighthouse Polytechnic Admission Requirements for UTME
- Candidate must meet the cut-off mark
- English is a core subject for all UTME candidates. Candidates can as well choose Mathematics which is optional alongside any other subjects that relate to their course of study.
- Candidates who are offered provisional admission are expected to undergo a screening exercise in the school
N/B candidates can only choose four subjects when registering for JAMB and making a good subject combination makes you eligible of being offered admission.
Lighthouse Polytechnic Admission Requirements for Direct Entry
The entry requirements for DE candidates in the Lighthouse Polytechnic are somewhat similar to that of UTME candidates.
- DE must possess at least a credit pass in English and Mathematics.
- DE students must have a minimum of upper credit in their ND or HND.
N/B Aspirants with distinction have a higher chance of being offered admission whereas aspirants with lower credit are not eligible for admission.
