List of Illegal Universities in Nigeria

There has recently been some upheaval in the tertiary education and university sectors, specifically in relation to the increasing number of universities that are opening up without the necessary authorization and following the proper procedures for applying for licenses to operate universities or satellite campuses.

Few people are aware of the psychological trauma that students go through when, finally, they are admitted after years of unsuccessfully applying.

However, this psychological trauma occurs when, at the conclusion of your degree program, the NUC declares your university to be illegal or your course to be unaccredited, which renders your degree certificate meaningless and invalid.

In order to warn the public, the NUC’s team periodically visits all universities that are operating illegally in the nation.

Candidates and applicants are urged to verify the list of all accredited universities and their satellite campuses that are currently operating in the nation via the NUC official website in order to avoid falling victim to this.

To get back to the main issue at hand, the Nigerian University Commission has published a list of fake/illegal institutions and campuses that are currently operating in Nigeria, and many people find the figure to be very worrying.

In order to warn the general public against attending or obtaining school forms from these 58 colleges and satellite campuses that are operating without licenses, NUC has now published the list. Anyone who does so does so at their own risk.

Several private colleges from each of Nigeria’s 36 states are on the list of the aforementioned fraudulent universities that are still operating in the country. As for the state and federal universities, it is their satellite campuses that have been labeled illegal.

Please take note of this crucial information, which is intended for all O’level students, parents, and guidance. Here is a drop-down list of all fake/illegal universities that are operating inside the nation’s borders.
