Niger State Polytechnic ND Admission Entry Requirements.
1. To be eligible for the Post-UTME exam and the admission screening process, candidates must meet the NIGERPOLY cut-off mark and the courses being offered.
2. The minimum requirement for candidates is that they have earned at least 5 credits in relevant subjects, including English and math, at the GCE O’level, WASSCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or in approved equivalents after no more than two (2) sittings.
3. Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old the year they are admitted.
4. Satisfy the departmental and faculty requirements of Niger State Polytechnic before being admitted.
Niger State Polytechnic HND Admission Entry Requirements.
The following prerequisites must be satisfied in order for a candidate to be taken into consideration for admission to the institution at the HND level:
1. A potential applicant for a Higher National Diploma must have at least a National Diploma with a Lower Credit Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 in the appropriate ND Program.
2. A candidate for admission into the Higher National Diploma program must already have earned a National Diploma in the same field of study, have earned at least a lower credit in the relevant program of study, and have completed at least one year of relevant industrial training after earning their ND.
3. A candidate also needs to meet the requirements for admission to the ND program in addition to the aforementioned.
4. Candidates with a passing grade and a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field may be taken into consideration for admission in exceptional circumstances.
5. An industrial experience period of at least twelve (12) months under supervision,
6. It is necessary to have earned 5 credit passes in the relevant O-Level subjects in no more than two sittings.
7. For prospective students from other institutions, as well as those applying to the institution’s HND programs, a transcript is necessary for admission.
