NOUN Admission Requirements For UTME 2024/2025

The criteria for applicants seeking admission to NOUN through the JAMB (UTME) are listed below:

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits from the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in no more than 2 sittings.
  • You must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination for your program.
  • For consideration for admission to the National Open University of Nigeria, candidates must have received a score of at least 180 in the recently completed JAMB UTME exam.
  • Your first choice of the institution must be a noun.
  • To be considered for admission, if any, for the year, you must participate in the NOUN POST UTME/SCREENING.
  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

NOUN Admission Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2024/2025

The National Open University of Nigeria Direct Entry requirements are listed below for interested applicants:

  • The Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits must be completed with a minimum of 5 credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
  • Candidates need to have earned “A” levels or IJMB passes in two disciplines relevant to their field of study.
  • Passing scores on related JUPEB/A Level subjects.
  • Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in an area relating to the subject of your choice.
  • Direct entrance applicants must acquire a NOUN Direct entrance form from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and NOUN Portal.
  • An Advanced Level Certificate with the least Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), or any applicable Advanced Level Certificate.

How To Apply For Admission Into NOUN (National Open University Of Nigeria) Online

  • visit the NOUN website at www.nouonline.net.
  • Go to the Menu Bar on the Home Page and select “Apply for Admission”
  • Choose between the Undergraduate Program or the Postgraduate Program (for PG applicants).
  • Choose Faculty should be clicked (notice that it is on the left side of the screen).
  • Choose a faculty
  • Fill out the form that will appear on your screen, then click the link below to see the entrance requirements.To continue, click “Apply.”
  • The displayed UNIQUE ID should be noted because it will be crucial for subsequent registrations.
