POLAC Requirements 2023/2024
The general Nigerian Police Academy NPA [POLAC] requirements for the 2023/2024 academic session are shown below.
- The Academy only accepts Nigerian residents between the ages of 17 and 22 who are applying for admission.
- The candidate must be at least 1.62 meters (5 feet 4 inches) for women and 1.67 meters (5 feet 6 inches) for men.
- Additionally, candidates need to have expanded chest measurements of at least 86cm (or 34 inches for individuals between 21 and 22 years old).
- Any physical or mental disabilities must not exist in any of the candidates.
- Candidates must have earned a minimum of SIX (6) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO), or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at no more than two sittings. The English language, mathematics, and any other topics pertinent to the candidate’s selected field of study at the Academy are also required for all Candidates to have a credit pass.
- Along with passing the physical and mental fitness tests, candidates must also receive satisfactory results on the written test and the interview.
- There will be no acceptance of the SSCE statement of results or certificates for exams taken before 2017.
