Taraba State Polytechnic Cut Off Mark 2024/2025

Candidates for admission are frequently perplexed about the ideal JAMB score for their program, leading to questions like? Can I still be admitted to Taraba Poly if my JAMB score was 120? What grade must I obtain to enroll in Taraba Poly’s Computer Science program?

What is the TARABA POLY passing score for the 2024/2025 academic year? Sometimes candidates with scores of 120, 130, and above wonder, if they qualify to enroll in any of the TARABA POLY courses, including Political Science. Please take note that you will be able to determine whether you qualify for admission to TARABA POLY on your own using the courses and cut-off marks that are currently available here.

We will list the approved TARABA POLY course and the minimum JAMB cut-off mark you must achieve to be eligible for post-UTME at the TARABA POLY. Please keep in mind that the first step in your admissions process is to select Taraba Poly as your top choice of polytechnic when registering for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This is because the school will give preference to applicants who have chosen Taraba Poly as their top choice of polytechnic before considering other options, if necessary. Again, candidates with higher JAMB scores have an advantage over those with lower JAMB scores when determining the average cut-off mark for admission to TARABA POLY, even though all candidates who score 120 or higher are given equal opportunities to sit for the post-UTME.

This is because after calculating their aggregate score or weighted average, candidates with higher JAMB scores tend to score higher because their UTME scores give them an advantage over those with lower UTME scores. Therefore, it is advised that you make every effort to achieve high JAMB and Post UTME scores to increase your chances of enrolling in your desired course.

The Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, JAMB cut-off mark has been announced by the school administration in accordance with JAMB’s directive for all courses offered in the polytechnic. Before TARABA POLY’s management and school authority set their minimum cutoff mark, it must coincide with the cutoff mark that JAMB has approved for the current academic session.

Although JAMB does not set the cutoff mark for TARABA POLY, they (JAMB) do set a fixed admission cutoff point for each academic session that no polytechnic may fall below. In the case of TARABA POLY, this means that they may not fall below the ceiling set for fixing cutoff marks.

The general cutoff mark for all Polytechnics was set by JAMB at 120 for the current academic year. TARABA POLY is free to set their minimum admission cut-off mark at 120 or higher, though. The passing score, for instance, for TARABA POLY is 120.

This merely indicates that in order to purchase a TARABA POLY post-UTME form and submit an application for admission to their desired course, candidates who list TARABA POLY as their preferred choice of polytechnic must have received a score of at least 120 and above.

It is the responsibility of JAMB to control admissions and grant them to deserving applicants who meet the TARABA POLY cutoff mark and passed the Post UTME exam.
