Duration of the Programmes

The length of the programs varies depending on the place of entry:

  • Candidates admitted through UTME: Minimum of 12 and maximum of 18 Contacts (at 3 contacts per academic session)
  • Candidates admitted through DE: Minimum of 9 and a maximum of 15 Contacts (at 3 contacts per academic session)

The duration of each academic session is 18 months.

How to Apply for UMYU Part-time Degree Programmes

Please take the time to read everything before clicking the application button below. The actions listed below should be followed for your application. For all Part-time Degree Programs, interested candidates should go to the university website and pay the application fee of four thousand (4,000.00) Naira exclusively through the application portal.

  • To register, fill out the registration form by clicking “Register a New Account” on the right.
    NOTE: Only one registration is required. Simply log in if you have already registered to continue filling out your form.
  • After your payment has been received, log into your account to change your application profile (you’ll need your most recent passport photo and your biodata for this).
  • Print the details of your screening acknowledgment.
  • Please always confirm whether you have been shortlisted.
  • To pay the acceptance fee, sign in.
  • Create an account to print your admission letter and other documents.
  • Print out all of your payment receipts.

Note: The management has stated that the sales of admission application forms would begin on June 20, 2024, and end on August 21, 2024. All forms must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. or earlier.
