Applications are being accepted from suitably qualified candidates for the following B.A. (Ed.) sandwich degree programs at the Institute of Education, Faculty of Education, University of Jos: (4 long vacations for NCE, Diploma, and 5 long vacations for SSCE, WAEC, & NABTE holders), with a focus on the following courses:

Admission Requirements
1. Bachelor of Science (Education) and Bachelor of Arts (Education):
– Candidates should have a good NCE or a Diploma in relevant areas of study at Upper or Lower Credit level, with at least two (2) full academic years’ duration.
– Candidates should possess Five (5) Credits in GCE/SSCE ordinary level in not more than two sittings. Those applying for any B.Sc. (Ed) course must also have a credit in Mathematics.
2. PGDE:
– Candidates should have at least an HND or its equivalent in any discipline from recognized Institutions.
How to Apply for UNIJOS Sandwich Admission Form 2024/2025
Interested applicants are required to follow the steps below to apply for admission into UNIJOS Sandwich Programmes:
– Visit www.remita.net
– Click on “Pay a Federal Government Agency”
– Select “University of Jos” as the Name of MDA
– Choose “Institute of Education” as the Name of Service/Purpose
– Fill in the necessary information to generate an RRR and proceed to pay the sum of N10,000.00, which is the cost of the application form.
– Take the printed receipt to the University of Jos, Institute of Education to obtain the application form.
– Submit the completed application form with photocopies of credentials to the Secretary, Institute of Education, University of Jos, P.M.B. 2084, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
Important Notes for Applicants:
1. The duration of the Programme for Candidates with NCE, Diploma, and IJMB qualifications has been revised to 4 years instead of 5 years.
2. Secondary school graduates are also eligible to apply and be admitted into the Part-Time Programme.
3. The Institute of Education has resumed operations at the Bauchi Road campus of the University of Jos.
