The criteria a candidate must meet in order to be accepted into the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic are listed below.

HUKPOLY National Diploma (ND) Entry Requirements

A prospective applicant must have completed WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE ‘O’ Level with Credit Passes in Five (5) Relevant Subjects, Including English and Mathematics, at Not More Than Two Sittings.
Must be at least 16 years old.
To be eligible for internal screening by the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, a candidate must get the minimal HUKPOLY departmental cut mark/point in the JAMB UTME.

HUKPOLY Higher National Diploma (HND) Entry Requirements

Candidate must meet the prerequisites stated below in order to be accepted into the institution’s Higher National Diploma Program.

A potential applicant for a Higher National Diploma must have at least a lower credit (CGPA) of 2 in a comparable ND program’s National Diploma.
Candidates with a passing grade and a minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant field may be considered for admission in exceptional circumstances.
An industrial experience period of at least twelve (12) months under supervision,
In no more than two sittings, you must have earned 5 credit passes in the pertinent O-Level courses.
Admission to all HND programs at the college requires a transcript, especially for potential students from other institutions.
