- The MTN Scholarships under the Youth Development Cause is a yearly prize that aims to recognize and honor deserving high achievers in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
Eligibility
- It is currently in its tenth year and intended for qualified blind students enrolled in any program at the 200-level in Nigerian public tertiary institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
Award
- If they keep the required grades, 60 successful blind students will receive scholarships worth N200,000.00 each year till graduation.
2.) MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) 2024

- The MTN Scholarships under the Youth Development Cause are an annual prize that aims to recognize and honor deserving, top-performing students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
Eligibility
- The Scholarship is available to qualify 300-level students enrolled in Science & Technology-related courses at Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. It is currently in its 12th year (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
Award
- If they retain the necessary grades, 300 successful students will get scholarships worth N200,000.00 per year till graduation.
Eligibility For MTN Scholarship 2024/2025
1. Candidates Must Be Students from Nigeria.
2. Candidates Must Be English Language Proficiency.
3. Students in their third year at public tertiary schools who have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or its equivalent Lower HND with Second Class Students with an OND program GPA of at least 3.0 (Upper Credit). Current students will have their scholarships renewed if they have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit).
4. Candidates for the SBSS must be blind students in their second and third years of study in any subject and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CCPA) of 2.5 or its equivalent.
5. Blind students enrolled in Nigerian public tertiary institutions at the 300-level who are interested in science and technology studies are also eligible to apply (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education).
