The Winding-Up and Passing Out Program for the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members has been formally announced by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). According to the Director General of NYSC the ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 22 2023, and will be kept low-key.

Event Schedule
The sequence of events that will take place in the weeks preceding to the passing out is broken down below.
Thursday 8th – Tuesday, 13th June, 2023
Activities during this period will include:
- Discharging of Passing Out Corps Members by Employers’ Discharge.
- A job awareness and creation initiative created to inform Corps members about job opportunities after their service. This initiative will be carried out at the local government level by officers from the NYSC and NDE.
Wednesday 14th – Friday 16th, June, 2023
Within this timeframe will be used in
- Registration/Clearing of Corps members by Local Government Inspectors
- Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors
- Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) on 30% of the passing-out corps members.
Monday 19th – Tuesday 20th June, 2023
The tasks that will be accomplished within this period include:
- Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors
- Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) on 30% of the passing-out corps members.
Wednesday, 21st June, 2023
The activity set aside for this day involve:
- Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors
Thursday, 22nd June, 2023
- Distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps members at the Local Government level.
According to NYSC management officers from the Planning, Research, and Statistics Department will be on-site to keep track of the program.
NOTE The online registration portal will be open from June 16 to June 19, 2023. Following the deadline of registration, the NYSC portal will be closed. Prospective Corp Members are hereby advised to prepare themselves for the 2022 Batch B stream 2 orientation course. PCMs should be aware that the registration Portal might not be extended.
