UNIZIK Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025 Academic Session

Kindly note that the registration for UNIZIK postgraduate admission form can only be done online on the school portal and the steps for the application, entry requirements, deadline for the registration, and the date for the screening exercise have been provided below.

How to Apply for UNIZIK Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025

1. Visit the official website: https://myedu.unizik.edu.ng/postgraduate.
2. Click on “Postgraduate School” and select “Generate Application form Invoice.”
3. Fill out the Invoice generation form and click on “Generate invoice.”
4. Make the payment at the bank using the generated invoice or choose the “Pay with Card” option for online payment.
5. Obtain your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and revisit the portal: myedu.unizik.edu.ng/postgraduate to complete the Application form.
6. Download and print your Acknowledgment Form and Transcript Request form. Send the Transcript Request form to your former institution for your academic transcripts. If there is a change of name, please indicate it in the transcript form.
7. Provide the names, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of three referees. ( At least two referees) who are in the should be Academics and the ranks should not be lower than that of a Senior Lecturer.

NOTE

1. For Online programs, transcripts (in hard copy or electronic form) must be sent to the College of Postgraduate Studies Secretary by September 9, 2024, and by December 8, 2024, for Full-Time and Part-Time programs. Prospective students of Full-time and Part-Time programs are to send soft copies of their transcripts to the institution-approved email: secdr_transcript.cpgs@unizik.edu.ng.
2. Ph.D. candidates must submit an online proposal that is no longer than five pages ( type-written). The following information should be arranged in the following format:

• Name of Applicant
• Proposed Department and Faculty
• Topic (not more than 18 words)
• Brief Background of the Study
• Aim and Objectives/Purpose
• Methodology
• Expected Outcomes
• References

UNIZIK Admission Form Requirements for Diploma Programs

Applicants who have obtained the requirements outlined below are eligible to apply:

• Graduates from approved Universities who hold the first-degree classification with an FCGPA of 1.51 and above on a 5-point scale.
• Candidates from approved Polytechnics or Monotechnics who hold a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit.

UNIZIK Admission Form Requirements for Masters Degree Programs

Applicants who have obtained the requirements outlined below are eligible to apply:

• Holders of Postgraduate Diplomas from recognized institutions with an FCGPA of 3.50 and above (on a 5-point scale).

UNIZIK Admission Form Requirements for Doctor of Philosophy Programs (Ph.D.)

• Graduates from approved universities who hold a Master’s degree in the proposed field of study with a minimum FCGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale or a minimum of 60% for universities that do not use the FCGPA
• For Ph.D. in Clinical Oncology, candidates are expected to have MBBS and MSc in related disciplines.
