Edo State University Admission Requirements for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

The management of  Edo State University has officially announced that the admission form for the 2024/2025 academic year is out for sale. Admission Requirements For UTME 

To gain admission into Edo University in 2024/2025, UTME candidates must meet the following requirements:-

  1. Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
  2. Candidates must have at least 5 credits grades in their O’level result. This must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to their preferred course of study.
  3. Candidates must score at least 160 in the JAMB UTME examination.
  4. Candidates must take Edo State University post-UTME screening examination and must perform very well in the examination.
  5. Edo State University does not accept more than ONE sitting result.
  6. Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.
  7. Finally, candidates must meet the stipulated cut-off marks for their courses to gain admission into the university.

Admission Requirements For Direct Entry 

Candidates who wish to gain admission through direct entry into the Edo University (EUI) must meet the following requirements:-

    1. Candidates are required to possess at least five (5) Credits in their O’level result. This must include English Language and Mathematics. However, two-sittings are not allowed.
    2. Candidates must have also reached the age of 16.
    3. Candidates are expected to get a JAMB Direct entry form from JAMB to apply.
    4. Candidates should have any of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, ICAN
