Admission Requirements for Student Enrollment
FOR LEVEL 100: DIRECT ENTRY
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) / Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE): attainment of passes in six (6) subjects, comprising three (3) core subjects, notably English and Mathematics, and three (3) electives, with an aggregate score of twenty-four (24) or higher (for SSSCE) and thirty-six (36) or higher (for WASSCE).
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) O Level: Attainment of five (5) credit passes, which must include English and Mathematics, along with two (2) “A” Level passes, excluding General Paper.
- Ghana Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) with successful outcomes in English and Mathematics
- Other diplomas or certificates, as considered equivalent to any of the above qualifications, including foreign credentials, will be assessed on their individual merits and on a case-by-case basis.
- For applicants in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), in addition to the general entry criteria, successful completion of elective mathematics and physics is required for those with SSSCE or WASSCE backgrounds.
LEVEL 100: MATURE STUDENT ADMISSIONS
Prospective candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- Attainment of a minimum age of 25 years.
- Possession of at least three (3) years of professional experience
- Acquisition of a minimum of three (3) GCE “O” Level credit passes or three (3) passes in any of the following: Ghana Commercial Examination (formerly RSA), Stage 2, Ghana Business Certificate Examination, Senior Stenographer Certificate, or SSSCE/WASSCE, which must include English and Mathematics
- A pass or successful completion of an entrance examination in mathematics, English, and general paper, which is administered by Zenith University College. Candidates may also be requested to participate in an interview.
